More than 150 sponsors each year recognize the value of our
dynamic educators, up-to-date curriculum materials, numerous
recertification opportunities and our full service approach
to helping them run high quality training programs. Over 30,000
WMI alumni are providing emergency medical care across the wilds
of the world. Who do you need to train?
When you sponsor a WMI of NOLS course you are sponsoring with
a full-service organization. Our full-time staff strives to
support your course and give you and your students the best
experience possible.
What will WMI do for me as a sponsor?
WMI provides:

A nationally recognized certification that's
easy to recertify year-round throughout the United States
and keeps students coming back.

A full-time, centralized programming team
and administrative staff dedicated to serving you and ensuring
that courses run smoothly.

Two fully qualified professional instructors
that have been selected through an extensive instructor-training
program.

All student materials and supplies including
all textbooks.

All gear and equipment.

Advertising at no additional charge through:

The WMI of NOLS website.
Updated daily.

What will WMI expect of me?

To advertise your course. Using advertising
mediums that might include direct mail to your mail list,
flyers, radio, newspaper and television ads. We will provide
you with an original flyer that you may copy and distribute
in your area. We can also provide you with artwork for ads
on request.

A per student fee specific to course type.

As a sponsor you are responsible for collecting
student registrations. If you are unable to do this or do
not want to, WMI will provide this service for an additional
fee ($20/student). Student minimums are 15; student maximums
are 30 participants. Financial incentives available for successful
enrollments.

Provide pre-course information for enrolled
students and WMI Staff. We will provide you with a template
of the letter to use.

The travel, meals and lodging for two staff
from the evening before the course starts until the morning
after the course ends.

To arrange for an indoor classroom (~ 30’
X 40’) that is large enough for 30 students. Optimal
classroom sites will also have access to outside practice
areas.
